Welcome to our Site!
~We are a private practice comprised of two certified nurse-midwives and a direct
entry midwifery apprentice, offering comprehensive care during pregnancy, birth, and the
post partum period, as well as family planning and well-woman GYN services.
~We attend births at home and in a licensed free standing birth center.
~We serve the greater San Francisco Bay Area, including southern Marin, the East
Bay, Contra Costa County, Tracy, Manteca, and Fremont.

Our Philosophy
As midwives we join with women and their families as partners in the process of pregnancy and birth. We offer experience gained through the privilege of having attended thousands of births, and commit to being trusted friends, guides, and protectors whose ultimate belief is that women know how to birth their babies.
Our goal is to provide an emotionally, physically, and spiritually safe place in which to give birth. It is in such safety that women may trust themselves and others, open their hearts and allow their bodies to complete the work of birthing.
It is from such a place of openness that a child is received, welcomed fully and may begin life in the experience of gentleness and respect.
We remain committed to the sanctity and simplicity of birth. As our hands join with the parents' hands to touch and receive the emerging being, we are honored each time to share in this sacred moment.
